ANNUAL
ACTIVITIES
-
The college organises Annual
Conventions each year in different parts of India. So far
41 annual meetings have been organized without any break.

The College publishes a journal
i.e. the Indian Journal of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology with 2 issues in a year.
-
Holds regular workshops and CME
programmes every year in the field of allergy and clinical
immunotherapy in different zones of the country.
HONOURS AND AWARDS
-
Annual "Oration" each
year in honor of late Prof. D.N.Shivpuri is given by a distinguished
research worker. The "D.N.Shivpuri Oration"
is awarded to a distinguished research work in memory of the
late Prof. D.N.Shivpuri.

"The Charle's Richet"
and "the von-Pirquet" awards are given
to fellows / members for their outstanding work in the field
of fundamental and clinical aspects of allergy, respectively.

The "Raju - ICAAI award"
has been instituted from the year 2002, to promote researches
in clinical allergy, asthma, rhimtis and patient care. This
award is given to medical people for their outstanding contribution
in the above area.

The college offers "M.Sunderamma"
award to young researchers for the best research paper presented
during the annual convention, each year.

The college gives Honours/Awards to encourage young workers
for their outstanding research contributions, The awards are
presented during Annual Meetings of the college.
- UCB-ICAAI Award for young Scientists. The award is given at annual conference each year with a cerificate and cash prize for best paper presentation in Oral presentation.
MANAGEMENT
-
The college
adopted its constitution and established its office at
V.P.Chest Institute Delhi ( SL No. 3740, dated May 25,
1968). The college is affiliated to International
Association
of Allergology, Clinical Immunology, World Allergy Centre.
The activities of the college are governed by a General
Body and Executive Council (E.C). The E.C. consists of
a President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary,
Treasurer, 4 Editor Members (from fellows) and one from
members. (E.C. for the year
2004-05)

Fellowship of
the college is offered to researchers / physicians / allergologist
having substantial contributions in the field of clinical
allergy, medical aerobiology, asthma, rhinitis, derma/
allergy, and other related disciplines. Membership of
the college is open to all graduates and post graduates.
-
Ph D's / M D's having interest
in allergy research and patient care etc.
