PROFILE
  • The College was established in 1967 with its head quarter at the Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110007 (India).

  • Some of the founder members who were instrumental at that time to establish the College were Prof. D.N. Shivpuri (Allergologist), Prof. R.K. Sanyal (Pharmacologist), Prof. R. Vishwanathan (Pulmonologist) and Prof. A.S. Paintal (Physiologist). The latter two were Directors of V.P. Chest Institute.


MAJOR OBJECTIVES

  • To promote fundamental and applied research in the field of allergology and related subjects.

  • To help promote exchange of ideas and to foster research, academics & professional activities among research workers and allergy practioners.

  • To hold regular CME programmes and train general Physicians in the field of allergy and applied immunology.

  • Interact with other global and regional organisations and exchange scientific and educational resources.

  • To publish books, journals, and news letters and patient educational material.
